This rifle is a Russian rebuild with added inspection marks. The top of the receiver is marked "147/ 1940" while the right side of the receiver is marked with one "eagle/ 359" and two "eagle/ 37" Waffenamt proofs. The left side of the receiver and barrel both have the Nazi eagle acceptance proof, earlier milled barrel bands, trigger guard and floor plate. The stock and handguard are laminated replacements with a cupped buttplate and original WWII German brown leather sling marked L&F on the buckle.

Possibly arsenal refinished, with most of the blue finish remaining. There are a few light handling marks and some high edge wear. The stock has a few dents and scratches and the receiver, barrel, bolt assembly, trigger guard, and floor plate have matching numbers. The action is excellent.
