The blade is mostly a dark gray patina with some spotting and scratches. The guard, handle and pommel all need tightening. 3) Fair. The blade exhibits a dark mottled patina with pitting scattered. Brass mounted furniture has darkened and shows some wear. One side of the handle is cracked. 4) Good. Bright blade shows some spotting and pitting down the length. Brass furniture is a mellow brass patina. Scabbard is 9" longer than the sword with pitting and spotting. 5) Good. The blade shows spotting and minor pitting down the length. The handle and brass are very good. 6) Fair. The blade is now a mottled dark patina with heavy pitting down the length. The handle shows minimal wear.
