Solid rib with rounded front blade sight and a serrate hammer spur and barrel catch spur. Marked with the Webley & Scott name on the top strap and "MARK.IV 38" on the side, and "WAR FINISH" on the left side of the frame. It also has numerous proof and acceptance marks on the right side of the frame and behind each cylinder flute. The grips have "WEBLEY" in the ovals at the top. All markings are highlighted in white. Complete with blue colored canvas R.A.F. style holster marked on the inside of the flap "M.W.&S. Ltd 1943unreadable" and cleaning rod.

Very good with approximately 80% of the original finish remaining. Several minor dings on the top of the barrel and front sight. The grips are very good with light dings and usage marks. The holster and cleaning rod are excellent with very few marks or wear.

Manufactured 1906 to 1940, this model was adopted by the Metropolitan Police following a hostage and siege situation in 1910. Standard features with safety on left side of frame above grip and external hammer. Marked on the left side of slide with manufacturer information, logo and caliber. The "crown/BV" proofs are located on the right side of the frame, slide and barrel with the "crown/BP" also on the barrel. Complete with unmarked brown leather holster.

Very good with approximately 70% of the original finish remaining with the front and rear grip straps having browned out completely. The grips are very good, very light wear and crisp checkering. The holster is very good, displaying normal usage wear and age cracking. All seams are tight and the belt loop and strap buckles are solid.
