Two Antique Smith & Wesson Revolvers

A) Smith & Wesson Number One Second Issue

Made between 1860 and 1868. Standard one line markings on the barrel and around the center of the cylinder. Matching assembly marks on the barrel and cylinder. Fixed sights, silver frame, smooth spur trigger, checkered hammer and smooth rosewood grips with square butt. Matching number stamped on the inside of the right grip panel.

ConditionVery fine. The barrel shows signs of cleaning and retains approximately 40% of the thinning finish mostly in protected areas mixed with a smooth mottled patina. The frame retains most of the original silver, darkend with age. The cylinder has a smooth mottled gray patina. The grips are very good with a few minor nicks and dings. Action is excellent.
