Manufactured between 1888-1902. Standard two line Springfield/patent date marking on the top of the fluted rib. Nickel finish with blued trigger guard and casehardened trigger. With pebble factory box.

Excellent with approximately 90% of the original nickel finish remaining with some minor flaking, strong cylinder lines and some frosting. The trigger retains light traces of vivid and bright case color. There is heavy flaking on the trigger guard. The grips are excellent with some light handling marks. The checkering is sharp. The markings are clear. The box is very fine with some light edge wear and moderate age staining. Roughly one quarter of the exterior model designation label is missing.
