Manufactured between 1887 to 1899. The rib is marked with the two line New Haven address/patent dates. Scrollwork and zigzag engraving is present on the barrel, frame and cylinder, with punch-dot background on the frame. Hammer, trigger guard, latch, trigger, screws and pins are gold washed. Smooth square butt mother of pearl grips.

Excellent, with 95% of the original nickel finish, showing a few very small areas of pitting, spotting on the front strap and mild handling marks. A few areas of gray patina are visible on the gold areas, mostly on the trigger guard, with some minor flaking and handling marks. Grips are very good.
