The top of the barrel is marked "MOORES PAT. FA. CO. BROOKLYN N.Y." and features a blade front sight. Gold finished frame with steel barrel and blue finished screws, checkered hammer and checkered trigger. Fancy floral engraving on the frame and barrel with fancy checkering engraved birds head grips.

Fair with minor pin prick pitting and a mottled gray patina. The frame has been cleaned and subsequently chemically colored. The markings and engraving is clear. The hammer does not lock every time.
