Rare Forehand & Wadsworth Serial Number 2 Top Break Double Action Revolver

Manufactured from 1898 to 1902. This revolver was manufactured in 1898 and is marked "FOREHAND & WADSWORTH, WORCHESTER, MASS. U.S.A." on top of the barrel rib. Half moon front sight, top break action, nickel finish with blue trigger guard and casehardened hammer and trigger, with matching serial number.

ConditionExcellent. The revolver retains 98% of the original finish with some minor flaking on the muzzle and high edges of the cylinder and overall scattered minor dings. The trigger guard has a smooth brown patina. There is strong original vivid case colors in protected areas of the trigger. The grips are excellent with a few minor handling marks and crisp checkering. The marking is sharp and clear. The action is very good.
