This is the semi-automatic version of the famous Thompson sub-machine gun. Equipped with a finned barrel, fixed front and folding adjustable rear sights, horizontal pistol grip forearm, pistol grip with finger grooves and a plain buttstock with metal trapdoor buttplate. The barrel is fitted with a Cutts compensator, and a sling swivel is found on the buttstock. The left side of the receiver is marked "MODEL OF 1927 A1 / NO.2193" and "THOMPSON SEMI-AUTOMATIC CARBINE / CALIBER .45 AUTOMATIC CARTRIDGE". The right side is marked with the 12 patent numbers and two line Auto Ordnance address. The top of the receiver and compensator are marked with the Thompson logo. Smooth straight grip stock with a flat trapdoor buttplate.
