Solid rib barrels with a small bead front sight. Two position folding rear sight. The shotgun chamber is 2 3/4 inch and the choke is improved modified. 4 X Hensoldt scope with a post and heavy crosshair reticule, on claw mount. There are two sets of front claw mounts (probably for two different scopes). The scalloped box lock action has full coverage scroll and rose engraving with cocking indicators, tang safety and double triggers. The European walnut pistol grip stock has fine line checkering, horn grip cap, shadow line cheekpiece, solid recoil pad, silver initial oval and sling swivels. The matching walnut three piece forearm has multi-point fine line checkering, engraved latch and knuckle with 52 rounds of custom loaded ammo by 2nd Amendment Gun Shop in Gleeson, Arizona.

Excellent, with 95% blue with some thinning near the muzzle. The action shows 40% casehardening color with sharp engraving. The stock is very good with freshened checkering and finish. The optics are very good. A very nice pre-war Merkel in 9 X 57 caliber.
