Iver Johnson Hercules Grade Side by Side Shotgun in 410 Gauge Chambering

Single nickel bead sight on a solid matte rib, with the barrels marked "IVER JOHNSON/ HERCULES GRADE" in the chamber area. Casehardened frame, with an engraved pointer on the left and "IVER JOHNSON/ ARMS & CYCLE WORKS/ FITCHBURG MASS. U.S.A." on the right. Checkered straight grip stock, double triggers, tang safety, and a serrated butt.

ConditionVery good, with 60% of the blue finish on the barrels, Mixed with a brown patina along the sides and bottom, with the original blue concentrated in the low areas, minor dings overall, and some bright gray visible at the joints. The frame is turning silver, with a mixture of brown and gray overall, with bright and vivid case colors remaining on the topstrap under the lever. Stock is very good, with a few minor pressure dents and excellent color. Mechanically fine.
