This is the finest known Political Leader Walther Mod PPK Pistol. It has the serial numbered carton, manual, aluminum cleaning tin, dummy cartridges and embossed flap holster. The pistol has the pre-war high polish blue finish with niter blue 60-degree safety lever. The pistol has a side magazine release, lanyard loop butt and magazine with brown plastic finger extension. The pistol is the second variation NSDAP Party Leader model with distinctive brown checkered, one piece grip embossed with the Nazi Eagle and Swastika insignia. The left side of the slide is marked with the Walther Banner followed by the two-line legend: "Waffenfabrik Walther, Zella-Mehlis (Thur)/Walther's Patent Cal 7.65 m/m" followed by "Mod PPK". The right side of the frame has the serial number, "240112K" vertically pant graphed behind the trigger. The pre-war "Crown/N" proof mark is stamped on the right side of the slide below the ejection port and on the barrel chamber and muzzle. The magazine has a dark phosphate finish and is stamped with the Walther Banner on the left side above the floor plate. The cardboard carton has a faux wood-grain finish and has the Walther Banner, a picture of the pistol and "PPK" embossed in gold on the lid. The serial number, "240112K" is stamped on a green and white label attached to the top and side of the lid. The bottom of the carton has a cardboard partition and a holder for three nickel-plated dummy cartridges. The box is complete with an aluminum tin with the Walther banner embossed on the lid that contains and oil bottle and a package of cotton cleaning material. The carton also contains the original instruction manual dated "4-39", a cleaning rod in tan envelope, red packing paper and several accessory envelopes. Also included in the group is a scarce brown cowhide Political Leader's PPK holster. The full-flap holster has a vertical closing strap with aluminum button and extra magazine pouch on the holster body. The holster flap is embossed with the NSDAP Eagle and Swastika insignia. The holster body is stamped "D.R.G.M." over a wreath and crossed rifle emblem and the trademark, "Akah". Also included with this group are: (1) a blued PPK magazine with brown plastic finger extension, (2) a blued PPK magazine with brown plastic grip extension, (3) aluminum cleaning tin embossed with a picture of the Walther factor that contains and oil bottle and cleaning material and (4) .22 caliber conversion kit. The conversion kit is complete with the original black fabric covered carton with gold Walther Banner on the cover. The carton contains: (1) a .22 caliber barrel, (2) firing pin, (3) five cartridge holders, (4) loading tool, (5) a brass cleaning rod and (6) several CB caps.

Near new in box. The pistol retains nearly all of the original high polish blue finish and has crisp markings. The brown plastic Party Leader grips are in excellent plus condition. Both the exterior and interior of the carton are in excellent condition with only light handling wear. The manual, dummy cartridges and cleaning kit are in excellent condition. The holster is in excellent condition with supple leather, tight stitching and crisp markings. The excellent holster has never been oiled and shows minimal wear. The sub-caliber conversion kit is missing one cartridge holder but the components and cartridges are in excellent condition. The two extra magazines are also in excellent condition. The spare cleaning tin has several barely noticeable nicks in the lid and is in fine condition. This is an outstanding example of a Walther Mod PPK NSDAP Party Leader pistol and holster with original carton, manual, cleaning kit as well as extra magazines, .22 caliber conversion kit and spare cleaning tin.
