Introduced in 1948, the SP 47/8 was the first successful commercial design from Sig Arms and is the early model of the P210. This pistol features blade front and notched rear sights on a slide with a grooved sighting panel between the chamber and the front sight. High polished blue with matte aluminum serrated hammer, serrated slide release and smooth trigger and unfinished barrel. The right side of the frame is stamped "KEBCO SS MD" (Importer marking). Fitted with two-piece, wraparound wood grips with horizontal grooves. Furnished with a blue finished magazine. Frame and barrel serial number match. Consignor states that this pistol is the 49th SIG 47/8 pistol manufactured and falls into the Swedish contract pistol range.

Excellent. The pistol retains approximately 97% original blue finish with some light wear on the front edges of the slide, the front grip strap, and rear section of the frame. The grips are excellent with some minor dings and scratches, along with some minor dings in the grooves on the right panel.
