Both Sets of barrels are 28" in length, have double ivory bead sights on the matte vent rib, have fine scroll engraving on the breech end of the upper barrel, marked "GEBRUDER MERKEL, SUHL" on the left side, have the Merkel logo engraved on the rear lug, are chambered 3" with ejectors, with one set choked improved modified/modified and the other full/improved modified. Each barrel has its own two piece upper half forearm with a shared lower half. The Holland & Holland side lock action, trigger guard and break lever are nicely engraved with fine English arabesque designs. The shotgun is equipped with cocking indicators, hidden fingernail latch, hand detachable locks, single selective trigger, manual tang safety, double locking under lugs and Kersten style cross bolt. Mounted with checkered deluxe English walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with engraved forearm hardware, horn grip cap and a solid red unmarked recoil pad and spacer. Complete in a Browning hard takedown case with partial fleece lining. Length of pull is 14 1/8"
