The left side of the butt socket is marked with serial number 90L8179 denoting manufacture at Long Branch and the right side of the receiver ring is marked with a "Crown / GP / ENGLAND". The rifle is equipped with a No. 32 MKIII sniper scope that is marked on top of the scope tube: "TEL STG No 32 MK III / COS 2039 A /REL CANADA/158-C/ broad arrow". The right side of the scope tube is marked with a stenciled blue "CB" and a red painted "W", indicating that the scope has bloomed lens and is water proofed. The scope is fitted with a set of leather lens caps that is stamped with a single "broad arrow" proof on the end of the lens cap. The scope is fitted in a Canadian mount that has the small broad arrow "C" proof that is numbered "90L8179 on the side (same as the rifle). The stock, forend and hand guard are the correct Canadian walnut versions with Canadian Broad Arrow "C" marking in the grip area as well as the Canadian Broad Arrow "C" proof on the front underside portion of the forend. The stock has the correct walnut cheekpiece mounted on top of the buttstock. It is complete with a WWII MILSCO leather sling dated 1943. This rifle is complete with the original Canadian No 15 MKI storage chest and the following accessories; the No 8 MK2, new model canvas scope bag, a No 4 MKII spike bayonet case with steel scabbard and canvas frog, a 1941 dated MKIII brass lensatic compass, a green cloth sniper Vail, 25 rounds of WWII MK IV ammo in the five round stripper clips, in the cloth bandoleer, a set of WWII Canadian binoculars marked Graticule & Apart/REL/Canada/1944 and C.G.B.53, 6X3 in the original canvas scope case, date 1943.
