This is a standard WWII M1 Carbine that has been fitted with a reproduction M1 Paratrooper stock. The barrel is marked " UNDERWOOD / 12 43 / ordnance bomb / P", the front receiver ring is marked "U.S. CARBINE / CAL. 30M1" and the rear is marked "UNDERWOOD / 2471162". The barrel band is the narrow 1st Variation type, no bayonet lug, flat bolt finished blue and replacement adjustable rear sight. The stock has low wood over the op-rod and there is no marking on the bottom of the pistol grip. The metal stock and folding buttplate are reproductions and the cheek piece is an original with an oiler slot. Complete with an original green, U.S. marked canvas jump case.

Arsenal refurbished. The metal surfaces retain 95% of the finish with high edge wear and some minor spotting on the trigger guard. The bolt retains almost all of the blue finish with wear on the high spots. The modern reproduction stock remains excellent with a few minor dents and gouges on the left side from the buttplate when the stock is folded, otherwise there are only light handling marks. The cheekpiece remains excellent with some light stains, the markings are clear and crisp. The magazine is missing. Mechanically excellent. The jump case is excellent.
