Standard one line Hartford address on the barrel, with scroll and punch dot engraving on the breech area, ejector housing and down the right side, a textured matte black oval panel on the left containing a gold eagle inlay carrying a banner reading "JOHN WAYNE" in its beak. Unfluted cylinder, with panels of scroll and punch dot engraving, a gold imprinted design of Wayne on horseback on one side and a bust of The Duke on the reverse. Engraving coverage on the frame is around 85-90%, with a pair of raised spurs inlay on a matte black field on the loading gate and a revolver with holster rig inlay on the left. Backstrap is signed "John Wayne", with the Red River Ranch brand in gold on a black shield, and a pair of ebony grips with "Colt" in gold and black scrimshaw on a round ivory panel on the left grip.
