Matching serial number on frame and back of both grips, with the inside of the top strap marked "245". The primer door and left side of the frame feature a scroll engraving with a floral type pattern engraving on the backstrap and hammer and floral etched pattern on the cylinder. Casehardened hinged top strap and hammer, with the remaining surfaces blue. Brass pin front sight, notch rear sight on the top strap and smooth walnut grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The barrel, cylinder and primer cover retain approximately 60% plus original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown-gray patina. The barrel latch retains most of the blue finish. The frame retains some strong traces of blue in the protected areas mixed with a smooth brown-gray patina. The top strap and hammer retain a few patches of vivid case colors mixed with a smooth gray patina. The grips are very fine with most of the original varnish, some minor dings and scratches. The etching and engraving are clear and crisp. Mechanically fine.
