The Steyr Hahn was originally introduced as a commercial pistol, but was quickly adopted by the Austro-Hungarian, Chilean and Romanian militaries. This pistol is the Austrian military marked with the serial number on the left side of the slide and frame, the left rear of the slide is marked "STEYR 1918" followed by a small "K" and large "S". The small "K" appears on the rear of the frame in front of the safety lever. The upper right side of the trigger guard is marked "W-n Austrian eagle proof. 18". The hammer and safety lever are also marked with a small "K". Fitted with checkered walnut grips.
Excellent overall. The pistol retains approximately 97% original finish that has some mild thinning and gray on some of the high edges. The grips are excellent with some scattered mild dings in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
