Description:

Scarce, early production M3 Trench Knife with parkerized blade marked, "US M3 AERIAL / MARINETTE, WIS.". The knife has an oval cross guard with upturned thumb rest, steel pommel cap with Ordnance bomb stamp and a ribbed leather washer grip. Aerial Cutlery Co., made 51,784 M3 Trench knives only two manufacturers made fewer M3 knives. Surviving examples are scarce.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The blade retains about 95% of the original finish and has not been re-sharpened. Markings are crisp. The leather grip has light handling wear, but is in excellent condition.
