Produced post-WWII (actually post Korean conflict) by Springfield Armory. Blade front and peep rear sights, with "DPC" marked windage drum. Springfield barrel, dated September 1955, with Springfield bolt and frame, trigger group, and operating rod. Smooth pistol grip stock, with Department of Defense stamp on the left side ahead of the wrist, circled "P" on the grip, and checkered butt, with a Korean marked green canvas sling. It is not a rebuild, but an original Springfield Armory, as produced, M1 Grand.
