Only about 3,000 manufactured between 1953 and 1956. Barrel and cylinder are blue, frame is black and hammer has brightly polished sides. Serrated blade front with square notch rear sights, left side of barrel marked "COLT COURIER / .22 L. R. CTG.". Standard two line Colt markings on the right. Unshrouded ejector rod. Checkered grips with silver Colt medallions. Complete with original Colt "wood grain" box with "COURIER" end label, green interior with Rampant Colt on the lid and papers.

Excellent. The revolver retains 98% original finish with a very faint drag line and a small area of spotting on the cylinder. Grips are excellent. The box is fine with some corner and edge damage and fading.
