Description:

Model 1935 Browning High Power manufactured by Fabrique Nationale during the Nazi occupation of Belgium. The pistol has the late production dull blue finish with minimal polishing with bright finished barrel. The pistol is fitted with checkered walnut grips. The left side of the slide is roll-stamped: "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE/HERSTAL BELGIQUE" in two lines with "BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE" immediately below it. The serial number is stamped on the right side of the barrel chamber, the slide and the frame. The "Eagle/Swastika" German Army test proof is stamped on the barrel above the serial number and on the left side of the slide and frame. The "Eagle/WaA" German Army Acceptance mark is double stamped on the left side of the slide and frame. The magazine has a dull blue finish and is not marked.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The pistol retains 95% of the original finish with some edge wear and light scratches overall with thinning on the front grip strap. The frame and slide also show the beginnings of a spotty, smooth brown patina. The grips are very good with some handling marks and chips. Mechanically excellent.
