Introduced in 1986, this is the civilian version of the U.S. M14 rifle manufactured from new and surplus parts. It is fitted with a GI NM barrel marked "SAK 7791382-3-76-88240" and the rear of the receiver is marked "U.S. RIFLE / 7.62 MM M14 / diamond logo / A003579". It has the standard flashider which has been reamed to NM standards with bayonet lug and Lyman 17a globe front sight. Hooded rear aperature sight, trigger shoe. The GI walnut stock has been properly glass beaded and it has the solid walnut hand guard, folding checkered steel buttplate and leather "BOYT / 44" marked sling.
