Description:

This attractive chromolithograph print was produced by the Anheuser-Busch corporation in the late 1800s to very early 1900s. The piece is chromolithographed on paper and then mounted on cardboard. The original painting that this print is based on was completed Cassilly Adams in 1888. F. Otto Baker produced the copy of the painting which was used for lithographs and become one of the most widely reproduced images of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, leading many companies, such as Anheuser-Busch to use it for advertising. This example measures 36 x 24 1/4 inches and is fitted with a rubberized plastic protector.

Rating Definition:

The print is very good overall with distinct text and imagery, some faint staining, light wear, and some minimal fading. An attractive display piece!
