Description:

Manufactured c. mid-19th century. "SELLS" marked barrel and "JACOT" marked lock. What appears to be "L Kinder" is stained among designs on the right side of the butt.

Rating Definition:

Fair with dark brown patina, oxidation, pitting, refinished and repaired stock with some chips and cracks, and moderate wear. Mechanically fine (set trigger first).

Rating Definition:

Good as modified with dark brown patina, oxidation, pitting, aged patina on the mounts, poorly soldered ramrod ferrules, shortened stock with cracks and repairs, and general moderate wear. Mechanically fine.
