Produced in 1903. Equipped with a Lyman white bead front sight and Lyman 2-leaf folding rear sight, along with interrupted threading on the muzzle, possibly to accept a Maxim silencer. The receiver has been fitted with a Lyman Model 38 adjustable peep sight. Smooth straight grip stock with an ebony insert Schnabel tip forearm and smooth buttplate.

Excellent, with 90% of the original blue finish, showing light dings and spotting on the barrel, some areas of smooth gray and mottled brown patina, light scratches, and wear from use. Some compression marks are visible on the front of the receiver. Wood is very fine, with some dents, scratches and darkened areas. Mechanically excellent.
