Standard sights on top of the slide, with the two line, two block address on the left side ahead of the Rampant Colt, and "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 45" on the right. The right side of the frame is marked "GOVERNMENT MODEL" over the serial number, with "VP" and "y" on the trigger guard. Fitted with a wide checkered hammer, long smooth trigger, short grip safety and smooth flat mainspring housing with lanyard ring. The slide stop, thumb safety, and magazine catch are checkered. Fitted with checkered grips and a two-tone magazine with a lanyard ring on the pinned base. With a brown cardboard shipping box hand numbered to gun.
