Half moon front and adjustable notch sights, with the left side of the slide marked with the two-line patent and address next to the Rampant Colt, and the Colt Ace markings on the reverse. The trigger guard is marked "3/VP" and "43", with a checkered trigger, wide hammer, checkered arched mainspring housing and checkered grips.
