Scarce Pre-Nazi occupation, pistol with the tangent rear sight and a slotted back strap. The left side of the slide has the two-line Herstal marking over "BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE" with Belgian proofs on the slide, frame and chamber matching. Stacked matching numbers on the slide and frame. Fitted with checkered grips.

Very good. The pistol retains 90% original blue finish with edge and high spot wear; the balance a smooth brown patina. There is some mild spotting/pitting. The grips are fine with some minor pressure dents and overall the checkering remains crisp.
