Two separate coatings of enamel paint have been applied, first black, then a light tan bordering on off-white, with a wide decorative front band and ribs ahead of and behind the touchhole. A similar paint job, three layers deep, is present on the carriage, showing black over orange over green, measuring 18 inches wide and 27 inches long, with a set of solid metal wheels, a pair of metal bars connecting the side panels, and raised column patterns on either side of the trunnion mounts.
