Manufactured in England. Damascus barrels, with a single bead sight on a solid rib, marked "EDWINSON C. GREEN, CHELTENHAM AGENTS G &A HAYDEN JACKSONVILLE ILL", and an extractor. Light scroll engraved frame, with game bird scenes on each lock plate and light scroll engraved hammers, lock plates, upper tang, and underside break lever, with the lock plates marked "E.C. GREEN". Mounted on a checkered splinter forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with buttstock initial oval and flat iron buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Fine as period refurbished with traces of the original brown finish present on the barrels with the balance fading to a plum patina exposing the clear Damascus pattern on the barrels with some light muzzle wear. The action retains some bright case colors with the balance fading to expose the metal finish crude replaced right firing pin. The wood is also fine with light pressure dents and some light scratching present with crisp checkering. The markings and engravings are crisp and clear.
