Collector's Lot of Two WWII Japanese Semi-Automatic Pistols

A) Nagoya Arsenal Type 14 Pistol with Holster

Nagoya Arsenal marked with the Showa date "19.5" (May 1945) and a very interesting serial number (40001). Large trigger guard, late production type cocking knob, matching magazine (001), and ribbed grips. Comes with a leather clamshell holster.

ConditionVery fine. The pistol retains 85% plus original blue finish showing some thinning to a gray. The grips are fine with a small sliver of wood missing from the left panel near the top and a few minor pressure dents overall. Mechanically fine. The holster is very good with tight stitching.

B) Nagoya Type 94 Pistol

The right frame side has the Showa date "16.11" (November 1941) stamped above the Nagoya marking. Round top cocking knob, straw colored trigger and safety, mismatched magazine, and checkered grips.

ConditionFine. The pistol retains 60% plus original blue finish showing some thinning to a brown with some scattered moderate pitting overall. Traces of the original straw color remain. The grips are very fine with some scattered minor handling marks and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.
