Designed and equipped for use in the National Rifle Association's "any military arm" matches, the NRA Musket in 30-06 came standard with a 24 inch barrel, bayonet lug, 1901 Krag pattern rear sight and a special flat buttplate. This rifle was manufactured in 1913, with a raised blade front sight, two line address and patent dates on the left side of the receiver and model marking on the tang. Smooth straight wrist stock with two standard sling swivels, a quick-detach swivel just ahead of the magazine, and a smooth flat buttplate.
