World War II Mauser "byf/43" Code P38 Semi-Automatic Pistol

The pistol has the standard "byf/43" slide markings and carries "Eagle/135" proofs. Visible "o" block serial numbers match. The magazine is marked "P.38v" on the lower left side and an "Eagle/135" proof is stamped on the spine. Fitted with ribbed grips.

ConditionVery fine. The pistol retains 70% plus original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The grips are excellent with a very small chip missing from the left panel and a few mild handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
