Description:

Measuring 37 inches wide and 46 inches long, this is a large red banner with a gold ribbon border, golden bottom fringe, and a golden swastika in the center, 19 3/4 inches wide and 19 1/4 inches tall. On the back are a pair of stamps reading "KREISTAG 1942/GREVENMACHER" and "KREISTAG 1943/GREVENMACHER". Grevenmacher is both a district in Luxembourg, and the capitol of that district. Following Luxembourg's invasion in 1940 as a component of the invasion of France, the Grand Duchy was forcibly integrated into Germany as a subordinate state.

Rating Definition:

Very good with some light wear and handling marks overall, some lost tassels and mild fraying of the ribbon.
