The left side of the slide has the "SVW/46" marking and the right side of the slide has the French star proof. The left side of the trigger guard has a circled flaming grenade, the official symbol of French police groups. Production of "SVW/46" P38 French police pistols was very limited as compared to the military issue. Visible "k" block serial numbers are matching. Fitted with ribbed steel grips. The "P.38v/ac" marked magazine has an "Eagle/359" proof on the spine.

Excellent. The pistol retains 90% arsenal blue finish showing some thinning to a gray. The grips are excellent with some minor high edge wear. Mechanically excellent.
