Full octagon, heavy target weight barrel with a wind gauge globe front sight. The barrel was built by Mike Lewis, a noted Colorado gunsmith and chambered for the 35-40 cartridge. No rear sight seat. Two target blocks with 17" center to center spacing. The paneled, coil spring takedown action has close-coupled set triggers, custom lever, Ron Long Vernier long-range tang sight with windage adjustment. The stock and forearm are triple-x-fancy English walnut. The straight grip stock has fleur-de-lis fine line checkering with carved borders. Leather (pig skin) covered recoil pad. Length of pull is 13 5/8 inches. The matching forearm has fleur-de-lis checkering and a ebony inlay in the Schnabel tip. The first extra barrel is chambered in 45-70 and was made by Mike Lewis and so marked. It has a dovetail cut for a front sight. (Not provided) Drilled and tapped for target blocks, with 14 inch spacing. No rear sight seat. The second barrel was made by Ron Long with a custom chambering of 40-65 R.L. (.406). It has a front sight dovetail cut (no sight) and the top flat is engraved "Ron Long, Denver." No rear sight seat. The third extra barrel was made by Mike Lewis and has a forearm which matches the forearm currently on the rifle. It is chambered for the 38-50 Rem. Cartridge. The front sight is a R. Long custom wind gauge, spirit level globe sight. No rear sight seat. Top flat has two target blocks with a 14 inch spacing. Accessories include 6 each 45 cal. bullet molds (1 Lyman # 457643BV, Hoch # C3561, Lyman #457658DV, 3 custom double cavity molds). 4 each 40 cal. bullet molds, (RCBS double cavity # 41-260 FN with handles, custom single cavity, 2 custom double cavity). 3 each 38 cal. bullet molds, (3 custom double cavity molds without handles). 3 each 35 cal. custom molds (1 single cavity and two double cavity).
