Manufactured in 1950 during the transition period (late 1945-51). Hooded ramp front sight, rear sight removed with fill block added and scope blocks on the receiver. Standard markings with Winchester factory proof on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Straight receiver tang, late style safety, trigger shoe and polished bolt numbered to the gun. Checkered pistol grip stock has sling swivels and checkered steel buttplate.
