Colt Model 1878 Frontier Six Shooter Double Action Revolver

Manufactured in 1893. Has a fixed blade front sight and a frame notch rear sight. Left side of barrel is stamped "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER". Left side of frame is stamped with the Rampant Colt. Fitted with a set of checkered hard rubber grips.

ConditionFine as partially refinished, 80% of the original nickel plated finish remains with the replated cylinder retaining 98% of the replated nickel. The ejector rod housing has traces of the original finish remaining. There is some minor flaking and minor scratches scattered overall with some freckling. Most of the redone nitre blue finish remains on the trigger, screws and cylinder pin. Mechanically fine.
