The heaume is of the "frog mouth" tilting style with a series of holes underneath the eye slit and a vent on the right side of the ventail. Mitten style gauntlets, pointed Gothic sabatons, winged elbow and knee cops and a small jousting shield attached to the left elbow cop. The entire suit is riveted construction with leather straps and buckles connecting the different elements. The suit measures 54 inches tall x 24 inches wide x 19 inches deep and is on a 30 1/2 inch tall x 15 inch wide x 14 inch wide carved walnut base that resembles a column with intricate floral carving at the top.
