Desirable Andreis Munsten Marked Early 17th Century German-Style Rapier

Circa 1620. Measuring 46 3/4 inches overall, with a 40 3/4 inch spear point double edged single fuller blade, with "ANDREIS" and "MUNSTEN" in the fullers. Andreis Munsten was a Solingen bladesmith. Iron guard, with Pappenheimer-style pierced guard discs, 9 5/8 inch cross guard, serpent head accents on the side bars and knuckle guard, twisted wire grip, and a round pommel with a scene of a person reclining next to a dog on the right side and a running beast on the left.
