Designed to appear as a standard Japanese short blade when worn on the belt, when drawn the weapon is revealed to be a both a long knife and a breechloading rimfire pistol. The blade is of the hira-zukuri profile, 12 inches long with a 4 inch false edge and applied hamon, which is mounted with 2 screws to the gun barrel, which swivels for loading. The action is equipped with a flush-resting folding trigger and a hinged hammer spur, with the hammer doubling as the breech lock. Ribbed grip with black leather wrap, which is fitted with an oval tsuba, decorated with gold accented flowers, and secured to the action with a single mekugi. With a matching leather wrapped saya fitted to the weapon. The origin of the weapon is unknown.

Very good. 95% nickel finish is visible overall, with a small amount of spotting present on the blade and pistol assembly. The grip is very good, with some light scratches, and the saya has been completely refurbished. Mechanically excellent.
