Developed in the early 1980's the M82 series of weapons has been adopted by a number of military forces, where it's long range striking power makes it useful for disabling vehicles and equipment, detonating unstable or enemy ordnance from a safe distance and battlefield sniping at ranges well beyond conventional rifle range. As of this writing, the current world record for a confirmed hit is attributed to the M82A1 at a range of 3079 yards. The upper receiver is fitted with a flip-up blade front sight and windage and elevation adjustable peep rear sight with a 6 inch long Weaver rail on a raised frame and a swiveling carry handle. The deeply fluted barrel is fitted with the distinctive 2-chamber triangular muzzle brake and a folding bipod is secured to the lower receiver. Equipped with a "Stowaway 2" pistol grip and a heavy rubber recoil pad. Included with the rifle are four original magazines, a Pelican 1750 hard case and an operators manual.

Excellent, with 98% plus original matte black finish with some scattered light handling marks and edge wear, mostly around the sling mounting points. Mild wear is present on the pistol grip and recoil pad.
