Introduced in November of 1941, the German Cross in Silver was awarded for distinguished non-combat military service, representing the next level over the War Merit Cross with Swords. Measures 2 1/2" wide with a black enamel swastika on a red bordered silver field, raised silver wreath dated "1941", and backed by a pair of starburst plates, black on silver. The arm on the back is marked "20", but no other markings are present.

Very fine, with a few dark spots on the back. The fine case shows moderate wear.
