Additional Information: This ZM Weapon system is another very limited semi-automatic rifle concept that uses a half-length AR15/M16 bolt carrier which is mated to an elongated gas key. This gas key extends across the top of the barrel to the front sight tower/gas block. This key almost acts like a gas-piston system, but is actually still a gas impingement system. The two unique aspect of this rifle are; 1) it does NOT require a buffer assembly as the recoil spring is located around the gas-key, which is located in front of the upper receiver, which allows for the folding stock; 2) due to the elongated gas-key, when the rifle is fired, all the fired gas is vented up and outside behind the gas block, which keeps the, bolt, bolt carrier and upper receiver clean and free of burn powder and gas residue. Exactly the same concept the US Army is trying to accomplish today. This unique upper receiver group has been mated to the reliable Colt AR-15 lower receiver group. There were only a few hundred of these system actually produced before. Additionally, as previously noted, the WILCOX Industries sight system on this rifle is actually a military grade, visible and non-visible/Infrared Laser and Flash Light combo system that was never offered for sale to the general public. These were initially issued and used by the U.S. Army Special Forces and are never encountered on the US market. This lot will include the original shipping box and instruction manual for this sight.

Excellent, with 98% of the matte black finish, showing some light handling marks overall. The forearm, pistol grip, and stock are all in good order, with minor wear on the stock from opening and closing. The laser is in good working order, light needs adjustment, IR function untested (takes three 123A batteries, not included). Mechanically excellent.
