A) Colt Detective Special Double Action Revolver

Manufactured in 1969. Standard two line address/patents dates on the right side of the barrel, "38 DETECTIVE/SPECIAL" on the left side and the Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame. Blade front and frame notch sights, and fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver medallions.

ConditionExcellent with light handing marks, cycling marks on the cylinder and a faint drag line. The grips are very good with sharp checkering, and a few handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

B) U.S. Colt Detective Special Double Action Revolver

Manufactured in 1970. Standard two line address/patents dates on the right side of the barrel, "DETECTIVE SPEC./.38 SPECIAL CTG." on the left side and the Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame. The left side of the frame is also marked with the ordinance bomb and "U.S." is marked on the back strap. Fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions. Complete with reproduction box.

ConditionProfessionally refinished. The revolver retains 98% plus of the parkerized finish with a few light handling marks. The grips are excellent with crisp checkering and a few light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with very light handling marks.
