This is an example of a late manufactured assembled "ac45" Code P38 pistol. The left side of the slide has the one line "ac45" marking with the serial number "851d". The barrel lug has the number "7033c" with an "Eagle/359" proof and asterisk mark on the left side. Additional "Eagle/359" proofs are stamped on the right side of the slide and left side of the frame. There is no serial number on the frame. Fitted with standard ribbed grips. The "P38" marked magazine has an "Eagle/WaA706" proof and "jvd" on the spine.

Excellent. The pistol retains nearly 97% original blue finish showing some minor thinning. The grips are excellent with a couple barely noticeable handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
