Description:

1) This Gerald C. Hudson marked poster depicts British soldiers salvaging discarded German equipment and reads "A MILLION POUNDS A WEEK IS THE APPROXIMATE VALUE OF SALVAGE IN THE BRITISH ARMIES IN FRANCE/HELP TO MAKE IT TWO MILLIONS". Professionally matted in a frame that measures 25 1/8 inches tall and 19 5/8 inches wide. 2) This F. Erler marked poster depicts a German soldier placing a wreath on a cross and reads in part "1914/DIED FOR THE HOMELAND" on the left and "1916/HONOR HIS MEMORY/AS/AN/EXAMPLE/AND/ROLE MODEL" on the right side. Professionally matted in a frame that measures 23 5/8 inches tall and 26 5/8 inches wide.

Rating Definition:

1) Fine. The poster and mat show some yellowing from age and a couple of soiled spots. The frame is fine with some handling/edge wear and a few scratches. The back covering is intact. 2) Fine.
