First imported in 2000, this shotgun features blue barrels, trigger guard and break lever; coin finish, scalloped box lock Anson & Deeley action and forearm hardware. Single brass bead sight on the concave solid matte rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked improved cylinder/modified, with ejectors. The breech end of the rib is marked "No. 51 of 100" in a panel. The right rear barrel is marked "280 EL 28 GA." and GSI Inc. T'ville AL/GEBR MERKEL SUHL/MADE IN GERMANY" on the left rear. The action is relief engraved with game bird scenes with scroll and geometric designs on the fences, underside of the action, break lever, trigger guard and forearm hardware. The underside is also marked with the "SUHL" logo. The lower left rear of the action is signed "GR" (Gunter Richter). Automatic tang mounted safety, double under lugs, double triggers and mounted with multi-point checkered extra fancy walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a black plastic Merkel buttplate. Length of pull is 14 3/8 inches. Complete with box numbered to the gun.
